A Round Storefront Sign Project
The round format gives the cafe identity a compact silhouette that reads from both directions along the sidewalk. Sign-white acrylic provides the light-diffusing face, while the blue, green, and lavender translucent graphic carries the brand artwork.
The completed display shows how a simple circle, bold color blocks, and a projecting storefront position can create a recognizable pedestrian-scale sign.

Laser-Cut Acrylic Face & Translucent Graphic Production
We started with sign-white plexiglass and used the Mars 130 laser to cut clean circular faces. Laser cutting is well suited to repeatable shapes and helps both sides of a double-faced sign begin with matching geometry.
UV-printed translucent vinyl added the blue, green, and lavender artwork. The translucent construction allows the graphic to remain colorful during the day and work with the illuminated cabinet after dark.
For your quote, send the verified face dimensions and thickness, quantity, viewing orientation, approved artwork, translucent-graphic requirements, retainer clearances, and cabinet-lighting information. You can also compare our acrylic sign and storefront sign options.
A Blade Sign Built for Sidewalk Visibility
The projecting position places the round graphic in the natural sightline of people walking toward the storefront. The compact shape, high-contrast white face, and saturated translucent colors create a clear identity without needing a wide wall area.
When requesting a similar face, tell us whether the cabinet is single- or double-sided and label the viewing orientation for every piece. Verified retainer dimensions and face thickness help us quote a face designed for the intended opening.
Blade-Sign Face Production Questions
What is a blade sign?
A blade sign projects perpendicular from a building, helping pedestrians see the business name and graphics as they approach from either direction along the sidewalk.
Why was this sign face made from white acrylic?
Sign-white acrylic created a clean, light-diffusing base for the round face. The material was laser cut to shape and finished with translucent printed graphics in blue, green, and lavender.
Why use UV-printed translucent vinyl instead of paint?
UV-printed translucent vinyl carries multicolor artwork onto a lighted acrylic face while allowing illumination through the graphic. It is a useful option for logos with several colors, gradients, or shapes that would be difficult to reproduce as separate painted elements.
Could a similar blade-sign face be produced for third-party installation?
Yes. We can quote a laser-cut acrylic face with translucent printed graphics when you provide approved artwork, verified face dimensions and thickness, quantity, viewing orientation, retainer clearances, and the cabinet and lighting specifications through the sign quote form.
What information is needed to order a blade-sign face?
Send the final face dimensions and thickness, number of faces, approved vector artwork, viewing orientation, desired translucent-graphic finish, cabinet-retainer clearances, lighting compatibility information, and any required labels or packaging. Our installer information page can help you gather the fit and handoff inputs.
